On one of the recent episodes of 'Black Ink Crew' Sky let us get a passenger seat point of view on everything new with her journey on improving herself as not only a person, but as a mother, as well. It allowed us to see a side of Sky that we rarely see. She finally worked up enough courage to see the lady that adopted her two sons & her two sons after years of not seeing them because she gave them up for adoption.
If you missed the episode here is a clip:
Now, I'm not really a crier, but watching this episode really brought me to tears. Not only was it sad, but it was real. Unfortunately, people fail to realize that. People fail to realize that although, some "reality tv" shows are in fact scripted or have some kind of improv going on, this was some real life stuff. This is something that Sky has talked about, not just on the show, but off of the show, as well. Both of Sky's son's look just like her and act like her in two totally different ways.
A lot of people voiced their opinions on the fact that it looked like her older son was going to hit her or that her older son was disrespectful, but how would you expect someone to feel? Even Sky knew that. You can't expect someone that most likely feels abandoned and got their own father talking negative in their ear to be all fine and dandy when their mother finally sees them again. Not saying, hitting your mother is right, but you have to look at his side of view, too. Both of them were feeling all types of different emotions, but of course people always have something negative to say.
I'm happy that Sky got to meet her sons, even if one of the meetings didn't go as well. I wish nothing, but the best for Sky and her children going forward. Hopefully, they get to finally talk again and she can clear some things up with him.
Did you watch the episode? If so, do you agree or disagree? Some are saying it's a lie and it's a part of the storyline of the show. What's your take on it?
