Soooo... In this edition of "Fooling Around with the Ladies," I asked some ladies about their thoughts on tattoos that have to do with their significant others! Some people use that as a way of showing that they love them. But, some people would never get them.
I interviewed 4 Ladies:
Girl 1: Linda
Girl 2: Kada
Girl 3: Vicky
Girl 4: Maiya
1. Do you currently have any tattoos?
> Linda: Yes, 5.
> Kada: Hell yeah bihh!
> Vicky: No.
> Maiya: Nope!
2. Would you get a tattoo of your boyfriend/husband name? Why or why not?
> Linda: No, because that's not a smart move. What if the relationship doesn't last long, but either way if we did last forever, I wouldn't get it.
> Kada: Ummm... I'm not even gonna lie, I was thinking about getting his initials on my ring finger. We were both considering it for our wedding rings. But, he pissed me off too much, so I changed my mind about it. But, we're still engaged and we both were okay with whatever. But, we both mutually agreed on not getting the names tattooed, only because of the simple fact that, anything happens and things and people change sometimes.
> Vicky: Hell f*ckin no! Because if anything were to happened I will be stuck with that name on my body. You can't trust these nigg*s out here.
> Maiya: Hell naw. If that n*gga leave, I ain't finna name my son that.
3. Would you get a matching tattoo with your boyfriend/husband? Why or why not?
> Linda: Yes, it just depends on what it is and how small or big it is. And it has to have a meaning with or without him.
> Kada: Yeah matching, just not the name.
> Vicky: Matching, yes, something symbolic. Because that way if we were to split, it could change the meaning behind it.
> Maiya: Not really. I don't think I want tattoos period.. but, Beyonce's is cute. Then again, he cheated on her a**, too. Soooo...
4. What would it be?
> Linda: I'm not really sure
> Kada: Mmm... That, I do not know. I didn't think about it. Most likely something that resembles God or love. Or both. Cause that's what we try to build our relationship around.
> Vicky: I don't know to exact what it will be, but I know it would be either matching quotes or a matching symbol.
> Maiya: N/A
5. If you got the tattoo of your boyfriend's name and y'all not together anymore, would you get it removed? Covered up?
> Linda: I mean, if I like the tattoo and it means something to me, I will keep it.
> Kada: Probably get it covered up. Or if I like it a lot then I'll just have another meaning for it.
> Vicky: I would just change the meaning behind it if we broke up.
> Maiya: Yup yup! No trace no case! You was never here!
6. What would you tell your boyfriend if he came home with your name tatted on him?
> Linda: I mean if he wants it, I can't stop him, because he already has it on him.
> Kada: Ummm.. I would ask him why he got it. And I mean if he felt like it was meaningful enough to put it on his body forever then that's his decision.
> Vicky: I would deada** tell him don't expect for me to get your name.
> Maiya: Uhh, like what the f*ck. Niceee
7. If you had a daughter and she came home with her boyfriend's name on her, what would you do?
> Linda: I would yell at her and tell her that's a really big mistake and she should've never did that, but I would let her learn her lesson.
> Kada: I would probably laugh at her. #Dumba**. I'm sorry, I'm kinda mean. But, unless they're married, me and Alec probably would laugh. And just shake my head.
> Vicky: I'm going to smack the sh*t out of her.
> Maiya: F*ck her upppp
8. If you had a son and he came home with his girlfriend's name tatted on him, what would you do?
> Linda: I probably would smack him up side his head and be like what the hell wrong with you.
> Kada: I would laugh at his a** too. They both stupid as f*ck to do it at such a young age.
> Vicky: He will get the same smack with the same hand.
> Maiya: Call him a dumb a** and when they break up, call him a dumb a**.
9. Some couples get tattoos of a ring on their ring finger. How do you feel about that?
> Linda: I mean if they both wanted that, then that's up to them on why they got it. I mean it's cute.
> Kada: I think it's cute. Like Steph Curry and his wife.
> Vicky: Where the real ring at? I wouldn't get a tattoo on my hand. It's unprofessional for my career.
> Maiya: But, what if I want a divorce?...
10. What you doing if you find out your boyfriend has a tattoo of his ex and he refuses to get it removed or covered up because of money and pain?
> Linda: Well, I'll pay for it and he better take that sh*t like a man and if I knew he had a tattoo of his e's name on it, I wouldn't have dated him.
> Kada: I would probably be feeling some type of way because I would feel like he still has something for her. And if I offered to pay for him to get it covered up, then I would definitely feel some type of way, if he still didn't do it.
> Vicky: Damn, that's a hard question. You see that's why I ask about tattoos from the beginning. I wouldn't let it get to the point of boyfriend or girlfriend if you still have your ex's name on you that would make me feel uncomfortable.
> Maiya: I don't think he'd be my boyfriend. Honestly, unless he got it removed I wouldn't accept being his girlfriend. Naw.
That concludes this edition! Thank you to all the ladies who gave their input. Fellas, how you feel? Ladies, do you agree?
