Is Kylie Jenner the face of our generation? Many people look to Kylie for her great sense of fashion, her lip kit, and her snapchat videos. But, let's be honest... what is Kylie REALLY doing? People look up to her so much that they went as far as to make a Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge that resulted in so many people getting hurt. Even though Kylie didn't personally ask them to do it, her lip injections and her crazy fame, is making girls all over the world want to look exactly like her. Because let's face it, when people see a certain thing getting attention, they want to ride that wave just so they can earn the same type of attention.
In an episode of her new show that I only watched an online trailer for, (not by choice, it was a YouTube ad that didn't have the skip ad option), she claims she doesn't like the fame and that she's only doing what she's doing because she has to maintain her fame, basically. But, at the end of the day, what exactly is Rob doing? Because he had enough money to shower Blac Chyna with things... right? Oh okay. So, I'm not really understanding. Unless he's investing in food (that's none of my business though).
People have become accustomed to this certain type of female and as you can see Kylie has paid for that certain look and now almost everybody either wants her or wants to be/look like her. Just recently, Keke Palmer spoke on these kinds of issues and brought up the Kardashians as a whole and then spoke about Kylie Jenner directly. Like always, people had more to say in reference to Keke Palmer, rather than accepting the fact that she's right.
Round of applause for Kylie and her ability to be a "role model" to many young girls and older women though. BUT, what's the point of being a role model if you're not true to yourself?
I don't know about y'all, but she not the face of my generation. Do you agree or disagree?
